busy tired work week

This past week was just as the title states- very little sleep or i should say lots of interupted sleep- emma's soccer is now over and swimming lessons for hannah are going to start- hunter went camping with the boy scouts this weekend - all he said when he got home was It Was COLD!! getting ready for halloween with house decorations and the ids costumes- emma is going to be a clown and hannah a dark bad fairy; and hunter is an alien. i will post their pictures; always love halloween pictures! needing to get back to the gym- soon there will be halloween candy; turkey stuffing and christmas cookies-- love this time of the year just hate the weight gain that comes with it.

two amazing weeks

hi everyone this is the third time i have typed the blog for this weekend and lost it somehow- so i am making this short and sweet I had a blessing occur two weeks ago (I know everyone already knows) my half sister found me and know I am in contact with my birth mom. It has been an increadible, amazing, scary, and life altering two weeks. My birth mom is an RN also! I have 2 half sisters and a half brother too!
Along with all this news, life is as busy with the kids activities. Emma started preschool at the YMCA along with swimming lessons and soccer on saturdays. Hunter and Hannah have been busy with scouts. This weekend we had a adult only night with our neighorhood friends before we all hibernate for the winter. Then up early for soccer today and then braeden's birthday party at chad and michelle's house. tomorrow we are going out to see my mom and possibly rake leaves if they are coming down otherwise her neighborhood is having a picnic and then we are going to have a home cooked mom's meal.

hi everyone what a beautiful weekend

this weekend it is just the girls and I...Howie went salmon fishing with the guys and Hunter and Brett went to boy scout camp-- we went out to breakfast before taking Emma to soccer this morning (see the scrapblog below) she actually payed full attention this year and really tried all the skills, the past two years she got bored and played with the grass and layed down. The girls want a expensive weekend of movie and shopping (hannah wants to go to sommerset mall$$$$$) not going to happen- the closing on the house is this week cannot wait for it to be over-- I will take the girls for pizza and blockbuster tonight. It is a beutiful weekend in michigan too nice to stay in maybe we will go pick up some mums and go the the veggie stand---- hope all is well for everyone you're welcome to comment bye laura

this weekend

after along and exhausting week - my weekend off work actually went slow maybe because i really didn't have any plans -- Howie had a baseball tournament for breast cancer-- it was the fire/police/ems/military and Craig put together a winning team - their team took first. I spent Saturday getting the rest of the stuff out of the basement from the old house and going to lunch with my mom- on Sunday we spent a lazy morning and afternoon watching TV and reading- then Bob and Brenda had us over for dinner and euchre-- today it is back to school the kids just got on the bus and i have a little peace (Emma is still here)

news for you

well the appraiser is coming today for the old house the inspection i think went well we didn't hear anything so no news is good news the closing will be probably the 3rd week in sept. and we were able to meet the new neighbors. they are a couple who are engaged with no children but a black lab husky mix- just so glad it is sold-- first day of school went well, hunter loved middle school, as per his best friend Logan, he got off the bus saying "hunter was being checked out by the girls all day-" hannah had alittle reality check she now is in 4th there is no skatng by she learned otherwise she has alot of the same girls in the same class with her.---well please if you read you can post comments i would love to here from anyone

just be patient with me-- my brother in law helped me this weekend learn how to use photobucket and use blogger so it will be little jumbled with differnt photo slideshows and scrapblogs -- i just posted emma's birthday party that was aug 1 and whe entire neighborhood came 21 kids and about 40 adults BIG party but Big success hope you enjoy the photos scraping i am learning-- got to sleep in today kids 1st day back it is so so so quiet around here. i will post angies party soon

BACK TO SCHOOL

This labor day weekend was busy- we spent the weekend with family - Howie's sister avanti and husband mark and their 4 teenage kids came for a visit-- we've missed them and it was great to have them come up - we had a huge layout of food and the neighbors and family had euchre tables going till 1 am- my nephews and niece are going up and getting huge they tower over me it was so nice having them up here we had gone to long between visits this time so me Howie and i said we will have to go down to Indy soon. the weekend before labor day was our neighbors Angie's 30th birthday party they had a live band and we partied pretty hard that Saturday night- i will post the pictures asap we have some nice pics to show off-- so after a good week off work and enjoying family and friends i am now back at work and the kids start school today(note i am writing from work at almost 2am) cannot wait till the bus picks them up i will now be back to better sleeping habits (and sleep while the house is empty) anyhow take care all Laura

okay after a few hours i am now getting use to how this works -- i just can't get my music to play and also i need to see how to post a video ---but this is the first night-- For everyone i don't see or talk to everyday Great News the old house sold and the closing will be very soon -possibly a week or a week 1/2-- hannah is hoping for girls to move in that are her age- I am now on vacation as of today for a week - we thought of camping but i couldn't stomach packing and unpacking-- Howie said to me the other night that we just love the new house we just want to stay home and enjoy it plus i am tired of unpacking now that the house sold i will be over at the old place cleaning for closing---- i ordered postcards that say we moved to mail out so expect in the next month to get some mail from me -only thing that changed was 808 to 814!! everything else is the same (yes we moved next door)
going back to vacation we will miss out on summer camping but i am going to try to go somewhere special for the winter --kids have been pressing on disney world-
almost ready for school hunter is going into middle school we get access to the building next week to help learn his way around --school starts sept2- emma is in preschool and hannah 4th grade- we still don't know who her teacher is the school district mailed out their packages today-
i took summer pictures at our park intown they turned out well the kids are getting big-

My first Blog

Okay i am trying to keep up with the times and learn this- our myspace is very outdated and this seems alittle easier for me -- just journal and share our family with our friends and our family who are so far away-- and thanks to my friend kathleen in arizona and her blog page (she is my soulsister to scrapbooking ) i hope i can create and design my blogs as well as she did.-- well i am anxious to design just like scraping but online and thousands of miles from my buddy--we will see how i do
